Partly cloudy, 5C (3C)

I think I want to live in Venice, in the ghetto, at some point in my life after Tokyo. God willing, I will get my degree, then I will go--perhaps to Spain first... but then, surely, to Venice, and maybe Istanbul... and eventually Israel....

===E.T.A.===

What is up with Brits asking with so much uncertainty if I'm really American? Living so many places when I was growing up, my accent was very standard. As I learned other languages, it became slightly more international. Living in NOLA, I let it color my speech (though someone who hasn't lived there wouldn't know it). Going abroad to so many places and having so many conversations with so many non-native speakers it's internationality deepened and widened...

But I don't think I can possibly be mistaken for British.
