VaCaTe

I thought I should post again sooner rather than later after that last one.

Tonight I made a reservation at a hotel for the night of a 40k-explosive display in Nagano-ken. Tomorrow I hope to secure shelter for the following two nights of my obon mystery vacation, in Nikko and Kamakura respectively. I just can't seem to work in Mito... Other than fireworks at lake Suwa, I plan to see Zenko-ji in Nagano City and the castle in Matsumoto (the city I'll be sleeping in, the castle is supposed to be one of the three finest in Japan--the others being Himeji, which I saw last October, and Hikone, which is a day-trip from my current residence) while in Nagano. Actually, I need to triple-check that Nagano City is logically on the route...

But, anyway, yeah... I will probably spend more money than I should, but I feel that resignation to poverty is pretty much an inevitable formality at this point, and it's at least mostly OK because I haven't abtually gone through with that ceremony, yet...

So that business with making an installation apointment for Internet at my apartment actually is not directly related to getting service at my apartment. That will actually take some two months, they tell me.

In other news, maybe I won't go to Nikko or Kamakura. It's still a little hard to tell at this point...

There was something else, I'm sure, but I forget what it was.
