Watershed
I got my lost-wage reparations from the bankruptcy from the government. It is more than I was expecting (which was far, far less than what I'm owed ; so the end result is I feel decently about it)--it's only 80% of what I lost by the company going under (not including my paid holidays!), but I fully expected to get a lot less from it because of "special accounting" that is so popular, here. But I'm still not paying my taxes, yet. I've decided I'm going to sit on it until the new year, at least. I'll make more decisions based on what I see, hear and experience between now and then.

Possible move
Based on what I see, hear and experience between now and then, I'll make decisions--which may include looking for or taking a different job (not in America), which may entail moving somewhere else, again. Which may enable me to continue with plan A : get an MA in TESOL.

Maintaining
In the meanwhile, I'm dropping everything to maintenance levels as much as possible. Which is where not paying my taxes or paying off anything else I had planned in advance of enrolling in grad school (if I can get in!) is coming in. In January, I'll have to move on quite a few fronts at once. I'll use this plan to try to strategize a proper procedure...

God help me
This still isn't going to be easy. None of it. And it's going to be a stamina thing, as well.

Speaking of god...
I listened to a really awesome lecture series on the theory of evolution this morning. It gave me a lot of energy for the day!

Speaking of the day
My True Nightmare class went superlatively well--for the second time in a row! Here's to continued victory!!

Speaking of trouble classes
My heavy-handed discipline is really starting to pay off! The kids are using wayyy less Japanese, are wayyy more on task, transition wayyy smoother, and so we can all have wayyy more fun! :-D
